Clinical Background & Experience
Caroline’s clinical background spans outpatient family planning, high-risk obstetrics, inpatient labor and delivery, and emergency maternity care. She has extensive experience working in fast-paced, high-volume clinical settings, often serving as the sole provider responsible for delivering timely, comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
Her experience includes managing full-scope midwifery care in large collaborative practices, independently overseeing labor and delivery and maternity assessment units, and providing gynecologic and reproductive health care across multiple outpatient sites. She has also provided emergency care to childbearing patients earlier in her career, shaping a practice style that emphasizes efficiency, safety, and clear communication.
Caroline has a strong interest in expanding access to reproductive health services and has provided care across a wide range of clinical needs, including family planning, gender-affirming care, and complex counseling. She also has experience supervising and teaching medical trainees, contributing to clinician education and workforce development.
Education & Credentials
Caroline earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating magna cum laude.
She is a Certified Nurse Midwife with active licensure in multiple states and holds advanced training in fetal monitoring, obstetric ultrasound, long-acting reversible contraception, and abortion services. Her training reflects a broad and adaptable clinical skill set grounded in evidence-based practice.
