It often causes itching and abnormal discharge. For people with a vagina, it can cause bleeding outside of your period time and spots on the cervix that look like a strawberry.
Trichomoniasis is treated with an antibiotic twice a day for a week.
Trichomoniasis is highly contagious and easy to pass back and forth if proper treatment isn't completed.
