Molluscum
Molluscum is not a sexually transmitted infection, but it commonly appears on the body on and near the genitals and inner thighs.
Molluscum is a rash of clear, raised bumps on the inner thighs and genitals. It is transmitted by touching people or objects that have been in contact with molluscum.
It is highly contagious and oftentimes gets spread through skin-to-skin contact during sex.
Treatment
It is a virus that your body will get rid of on its own in time, but it can take up to 18 months for it to go away. We can treat it in the meantime to help speed up the process with a topical cream.
After Treatment
After treatment, we recommend not having sex for 10 days after both people finish treatment. This will prevent reinfection while the treatment is completed.
